If you're coming to the Lakes for Easter, see what Ascents of Adventure has on offer.

For families. Multi-activity days for up to 2 adults and 3 kiddies. Try whatever you fancy; Hillwalking, Scrambling, Rock Climbing, Abseiling and Gill Scrambling if you don't mind getting your feet wet! Up to 3 activities per day but some activities may be affected by the weather. The following dates are available for family multi-activity day bookings.

The cost of these days is £135 per family group and includes any specialised equipment required.

The Easter weekend 2 - 5 April 2010

Lakeland Rock - a taste of Classic Lakeland Rock Climbing, an ideal 4 days if you've never climbed before. All specialised equipment provided, 2 places available for maximum climbing time, £300 per person.

Lakeland Scrambles - a dash around the Lakeland Fells scampering up some of the best scrambles that the Lakes has to offer; Jakes Rake, Striding Edge, Sharp Edge or some of the more serious scrambles where ropes may be required like Pinnacle Ridge on St Sunday Crag. If you've never scrambled before this is a fab introduction to movement on steeper ground. All specialised equipment provided, 3 places available, £200 per person.

Spring and Summer 2010

Next summer's not that far away and Ascents of Adventure is already gearing up for a fun filled and exciting programme of courses and days out. In the current economic climate I will always try and make available the best value package for clients and can help with things like picking up from local stations if you're coming by train. I believe that I offer courses that are fantastic value for money as I run all courses myself in an organisation that has very small overheads. Walking

Bob Graham round

THE classic round of the Lake District. 42 summits (exactly), 74 miles and 28500 feet of ascent (approximately), that is often attempted in 24 hours. Join Ascents of Adventure for a slightly more leisurely 5 day trip. Luggage transported for you so that you need only carry a small rucsac each day. £379 per person based on a minimum of 4 people booking, includes 4 nights B and B accommodation, lunches, transport of extra luggage and all guiding. Three Peaks challenge

Another classic challenge, to climb the summits of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, again often attempted in 24 hours. Ascents of Adventure can arrange this trip for a group of you to either attempt in 24 hours or at a more leisurely pace. Bespoke dates and bookings only. Prices from £139 per person based on a 24 hour attempt and a minimum of 4 booking. Price includes guiding and all transport whilst on the challenge. Please enquire for further details.

The other Three Peaks challenge

This time the Yorkshire 3 peaks of Pen Y Ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside. Do all 3 in a day or take it a little more gently with trips of up to 3 days. Bespoke dates and bookings only. Prices from £50 per person based on a single day attempt and a minimum of 4 people booking.

15 peaks of Snowdonia

Climb all 15 peaks in Snowdonia that are over 3000 feet in a single day or more leisurely over 2 or 3 days. Bespoke dates and bookings only. Prices from £75 per person based on a single day attempt and a minimum of 4 people booking. Price includes guiding, snacks and drinks at road crossings and transport back to the start. Scrambling

Classic Lakeland Scrambles

There are twenty one 3 star scrambles (not including gills) in the Cicerone Scrambles in the Lake District guides. This ambitious course will attempt to climb them all. Over the 7 days you'll experience the best that Lakeland has to offer from the classic Jake's Rake on Pavey Ark to Striding Edge on Helvellyn to the mighty South East face of Ill Crag. To achieve this some long days will be necessary and the itinerary could change because of weather conditions. Price includes guiding and use of all specialised equipment. 3 places available per course, 7 days of scrambling.

17 - 23 May 2010 £350 per person.

7 - 13 June 2010 £350 per person.

Classic Scrambles in Snowdonia

The mountains of Snowdonia were made for scrambling. This 5 day course takes you on the very best scrambles that Snowdonia has to offer from Crib Goch to Bristly ridge to the huge West Peak of Lliwedd via the Bilberry Terrace. Itinerary may change due to weather conditions. Price includes guiding and use of all specialised equipment. 3 places available per course, 5 days of scrambling.

24 - 28 May 2010 £250 per person.

14 - 19 June 2010 £250 per person.

Rock Climbing

Classic Rock - Lake District and Snowdonia

The iconic 1980s Ken Wilson book, Classic Rock, contains some of the most famous and best rock climbs in the country. Join Ascents of Adventure on a Classic Rock week that will attempt to climb all of the routes in either the Lake District or Snowdonia - weather depending of course! There are 22 routes in Snowdonia and 14 in the Lakes and an ascent of any or all of these routes will be a week to remember. There are only 2 places available per course and the course fee includes all guiding and use of any specialised equipment. It would be preferable if you had done a small amount of climbing prior to this course. 7 days of climbing.

Snowdonia, 21 - 27 June 2010 £420 per person.

Lakes, 12 - 18 July 2010 £420 per person.
